Casino Dealer; Good career choice? Job Availability? Pay?

I’m a 25 year old guy from Los Angeles. I’m very interested in becoming a dealer at a casino. Below, I’ve compiled a list of questions that I want to ask.

1) Is it true that pit game dealers (blackjack, craps, roulette) must share tips with other dealers, while poker dealers keep their own tips?
2) If I get hired as a dealer full time, starting out, how much will I make realistically, including tips? What’s the potential for growth?
3) How likely will I find a job at a local casino in California? Will I even be considered for hire at Vegas casinos?
4) Any experience, pros/cons that you want to share as a casino dealer.

Thank you guys/gals in advance for your feedback :)

Any tips for the upcoming Fable 2 pub games?

I really want to get a head start on the game by playing the arcade pub games to get some money before Fable 2 hits store shelves. I already know what to do with "Fortune’s Tower" and "Spinnerbox" but I’m a little confused on "Keystone." It’s supposed to be a combo between Craps and Roulette but I never played those games. Can someone explain to me what this Fable arcade game is about and how to play it. I know it’s not out yet but I just want to know.

I've never been to a casino… tips for the first time?

I imagine the first time you step into a casino, it’s a bit overwhelming. Despite I know that statistically the house has an edge, I want to go to a casino just to try it at least once.

How much would you suggest bringing? Can you have fun for a few hours with , or do you really need 0?

I think I would probably just play slots since they’re cheapest… what would you recommend, {content}.01, {content}.02, {content}.05, or {content}.25 machines? What kind of payouts do {content}.01 machines have, not even worth it?

If I win any money from slots I think I would take my winnings and either bet them on red/black on roulette or the pass line in craps, since they have some of the best odds in the casino. If I win and doubled my money I’d leave, if I lost I would take my initial starting money back to the slots.

Is there any particular etiquitte I should know about, especially for craps/roulette like when to bet, how to cash out of the table, etc? I know to leave my credit card and things at home.

Thanks!
So would you recommend skipping the slots and just playing something like roullette, craps, or blackjack entirely, even though they have a minimum I have a better chance of winning than with slots?

Also I taught my friend how to count cards mentally in blackjack. Do you think the casino would know if we only play for like 20-30 minutes? I don’t think it would even give you a big advantage if they use 4+ decks.
I already know the casino I would go to, since it’s in my city. They have the following according to the internet:

Gaming Machines – 492 total
Blazing Sevens
Double Diamonds Slots
Progressive Slots
Denominations:
{content}.01, {content}.02, {content}.05, {content}.25, {content}.50, .00, .00.

Table and Poker Games – 37 total
Blackjack, 21 tables
Caribbean Stud Poker
Craps
Let it Ride
Mini-Baccarat
Omaha Hold’em
Pai Gow Poker
Poker, 7 tables
Roulette
Sic Bo
Spanish 21

Betting limits: Range from a minimum of to a maximum of 0.
